The AAOHN Workplace Wellness and Safety Webinar Series focues on continuing nursing education (CNE) subjects pertinent to the occupational and environmental nursing profession. AAOHN members receive access to ten (10) free webinars each year which are also available at a low cost to non-members.

Course Description:
Prior to the pandemic, 31% of nurses reported leaving their jobs due to burnout, and more than 60% experienced some symptoms of burnout. After the global health crisis, nurse stressors have only intensified. Nurses need formal training in building resilience, compassion satisfaction, and strategies for self-care. Filoramo will share common symptoms of burnout, treatment, and how to build resilience in the workplace.
Learning Objectives:
- Recognize the 3 characteristics of burnout
- Identify 3 risk factors and three protective factors
- Utilize protective strategies to develop a self-care plan
Learning Outcomes:
At completion of this webinar, 85% of attendees will report an increase in their knowledge of nurse burnout and protective strategies for nurses.

Access Live Webinars and Webinar Evaluation
Please note live and on-demand webinars are available in the AAOHN Academy Online Education Center. After registering for the webinar, there is no additional action required. On the day of the live broadcast, log in to your AAOHN account and select Online Education. Then, scroll down to Access the Online Education Center. In your dashboard, Launch the webinar course at the specified date and time. No direct link to the webinar will be sent out by AAOHN.
The webinar evaluation is included in the webinar course package. When the webinar completes, use the left hand menu to scroll to the Evaluation. Select, complete the evaluation and submit the form. Then close the browser window to return to your dashboard. The course should now list in Completed Courses tab and the certificate is available to download to print or save to your own device.
